BIPOC Authors Wanted

Authors: RLE welcomes applications from authors, especially those from marginalized backgrounds, interested in producing manuscripts on a work-for-hire basis. We produce K-12 books on a variety of nonfiction topics. These projects are assigned by our staff. Experienced authors should contact us using the form on the right, including a resume, including a list of publishing credits, and a writing sample.

Sportswriters: Our sports team is always looking for experienced sportswriters to add to our network. Assignments vary by client and can include on-location coverage or remote reporting.

Editorial: RLE regularly uses developmental editors, copy editors, proofreaders, and fact-checkers in our book production process. Proficiency with Chicago Manual of Style is required for editors and proofreaders.

Design: RLE occasionally uses freelance designers and production editors or has needs for skills such as photo correction or graphic design.

Illustrators: We encourage illustrators to submit their samples for consideration on future projects.
